ABSMC has launched a $10 million fundraising campaign through 2024 to enhance our mission to serve our community with comprehensive services. The Campaign for Alta Bates Summit Medical Center will help us reimagine how to strategically care for the growing number of patients in the East Bay. It will touch a range of disciplines including cancer, heart and vascular, surgical services, women’s and men’s Health, behavioral health, orthopedics, emergency, and labor and delivery.
The Campaign for Alta Bates Summit Medical Center will transform the delivery of care by funding equipment and technology upgrades, providing vital community programs and outreach, and improving the patient experience and comfort at our Alta Bates, Summit and Herrick campuses. These initiatives will ultimately ensure that healthcare is safer, more accessible and more personal. Gifts to the campaign will help:
- Advance care through modernizing technology and acquiring leading-edge equipment — Campaign gifts will ensure ABSMC has the resources needed to provide patients with the most advanced technologies available for diagnosing and treating illness.
- Enhance vital community programs and support services — Campaign support will also expand the breadth and scope of outreach efforts and community partnerships to improve essential programs such as telecare for homebound elderly patients, breast cancer patient navigation for newly diagnosed patients and their families, and behavioral health services for adolescents and adults.
- Expand access and enhance the patient experience — ABSMC values its collaboration with local federally qualified health centers throughout the East Bay to bring the hospital’s primary care and wraparound resources to uninsured and underinsured community members.
