Alta Bates Summit Medical Center is designated a Behavioral Health Center of Excellence. Whether you are coping with a mood disorder or chemical dependency, we provide the help you need to return to your everyday life.
For information, call us 24 hours a day at (510) 204-4405.
Since 1948, we have helped thousands of adolescents and adults in the East Bay area overcome behavioral health disorders and mental illness. We treat all major disorders including depression, bipolar illness, thought disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, eating disorders, dual diagnosis and chemical dependency.
Patients receive full medical services in addition to psychiatric care from a caring and uniquely committed behavioral health team. Our 65-bed inpatient and outpatient program is Northern California’s largest, community-based psychiatry program, offering crisis intervention, evaluation, and treatment, and we're available to help you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
