At the end of the life of a grant, NIH requires three items to be submitted within 90 calendar days (not three months) of the end date of a grant. Only Grants Analysts have access to the FFR.
- Final Invention Statement (Confirmed by Legal, prepared and submitted by the Principal Investigator, approved by SO (Director of Grants & Contracts)).
- Final Progress Report (Prepared and submitted by the Principal Investigator after review/approval from Grants Analyst, approved by SO (Director of Grants & Contracts))
- Final Financial Status Report (FFR) (The Final Financial Status Report is to be prepared by the Grants & Contracts Analyst, reviewed by the SO (Director of Grants & Contracts) and should be signed by the Principal Investigator.)
