The Hospice Bereavement Program at Sutter Care at Home offers individual and group support to those who have experienced the death of a loved one. All services are offered at no fee. Donations are appreciated.

One-on-one counseling sessions are available for hospice family members and members of the community who are grieving the death of a loved one.

Grief Support Groups
Spousal and Partner Loss Group
Connect with others who are going through a similar loss. Support one another as you grieve and learn to tackle life without your loved one.
1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.
*An initial intake is required before attending first meeting.
Book Club Group
This ongoing drop-in support group is for anybody who has lost a loved one and is looking for support and resources to help navigate the complexity of feelings and emotions that coincide with grief. This meeting is in person in Pacific Heights in San Francisco, and also on Zoom. Although we will start the meeting by reading a section from a book together, no homework or owning a copy of the book is required.
2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm.

Yoga for Grief Support
