Sutter Care at Home’s Grief and Bereavement Support program is open to the public, not just Sutter patients and those who use our hospice services. Our short-term programs and trained bereavement counselors meet you where you are in your journey through grief, whether you experienced a loss recently or some time ago. We can also help you connect with long-term support if you need it. We offer individual counseling and creative workshops as well as support groups designed for different ages and situations, including:
- Adults
- Children and teens
- Handling the holidays
- Loss of a spouse
Our compassionate teams are available to provide support, education, training and emergency response after devastating losses in schools or workplaces. Sutter Care at Home’s staff of professional chaplains and medical social workers also offer spiritual or emotional support prior to an anticipated loss, such as when a loved one receives a terminal diagnosis.
