Offering patients, families and caregivers a lush green landscape in which to relax and reflect, a special healing garden is in place at Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center of Santa Cruz to provide fresh air and a brief respite from hospital walls.
Named after the beloved daughter of a Sutter Health physician, “Lily’s Garden” is a serene environment where you can meditate and regroup while visiting hospital grounds. Benches and tables converge in a courtyard nestled within a beautiful garden overlooking a Living Wall and artistic sculptures.
It is also a space where you can celebrate a birth or honor someone you love and become a permanent part of Sutter, as “Lily’s Garden” features pathways of engraved bricks — perfect for short inscribed messages.
