Smoking can cause heart attacks, stroke, lung cancer, emphysema and many other diseases but it’s one of the leading preventable causes of death. One of the best things you can do to improve your health is quitting cigarettes or other tobacco products.
How We Can Help
At California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), we know that quitting smoking can be scary and challenging, so we partner with you every step of the way. Doctors and respiratory therapists at our Smoking Cessation Program can help you create a plan to avoid cravings. We also guide you in the best ways to use smoking cessation aids, such as varenicline (Chantix), bupropion (Zyban), and nicotine replacement therapy (patch, gum or lozenge). Our goal is to help you throw your pack away for good!
