At Sutter Roseville Medical Center’s NICU, we provide specialized medical care and the latest in technology to babies born prematurely or with serious health conditions. Our 16-bed unit is designed to provide family-centered care, where parents are welcomed into the unit to participate in the treatment plan of their babies.
Featured Services
Delivering Loving Critical Care to Our Tiniest Patients
Our NICU is supported by a team of board-certified neonatologists and a staff of experts with specialty training in the care of critically ill newborns. In addition to nursing care, we offer support from social workers, respiratory therapists, occupational and physical therapists, as well as a NICU dietitian who provides consultation services for all of our babies.
Our care for your infant doesn’t stop once they are discharged from the NICU. We offer referral services for a High-Risk Infant Follow-Up Program at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento that supports your baby’s healthy growth and development and provides ongoing support and education programs. Transportation services are provided by our skilled and experienced Sutter’s NICU Transport Teams.
Each year, our NICU holds a popular reunion for families and their NICU care teams to celebrate life. Hundreds of former NICU babies and their parents participate in these reunions, allowing them to catch up with staff and other families while enjoying fun activities.
