About Sutter Roseville Medical Center Birth Center
The Family Birth Center at Sutter Roseville Medical Center employs a team of dedicated and experienced nurses, obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, lactation consultants and respiratory therapists dedicated to providing you excellent care. Our Level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) provides care for any baby that needs extra support.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where should I park if I'm in active labor?
There is special labor and delivery parking lot that gives mothers in labor direct access to the Birthing Center side entrance. The entrance is on the left side of the building down the path located near the parking lot. Parking in this lot is on a temporary basis. Once the mother is admitted, the driver will need to re-park their vehicle in the main parking lot.
Does this location have a gift shop?
Yes, the gift shop is located in the front lobby and is open weekdays, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and weekends, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call (916) 781-1373.
Is there a cafeteria or eatery at this location?
Yes, the Sierra Oaks Café is located on the lower level of the Sierra Wing. The café is open for breakfast, 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., lunch, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and dinner, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
When should I pre-register for my baby's delivery?
Please pre-register during your second trimester so we can anticipate your arrival and quickly admit you when you are in active labor.
