The Newborn Connections center at California Pacific Medical Center is here to help you get off to a great start. We offer in-person and online consultations, phone advice, virtual support groups and pump rentals.  

In-Person and Virtual Lactation Consultations

Book an in-person consultation if you have detailed questions, concerns about your milk supply, pain during feeds or a possible breast infection. Consultations are also warranted if you’re using a nipple shield, have a premature baby, your baby is not latching or you have weight concerns for baby. Call (415) 600-2229 to schedule. Lactation Warm Line

It's normal to have additional questions or to need reassurance during the early weeks and even beyond. We're here to help. Call the Lactation Warm Line at (415) 600–6243. Lactation support staff return calls Monday to Friday, 10 am – 4 pm. We will be monitoring the phone on the weekends for emergent issues and returning calls as needed between 10 am – 2 pm.

Breastfeeding Group

Exchange information and ideas with other new moms and families. A member of our lactation support team will be there to answer your breastfeeding questions Breastfeeding Support Groups are held twice a week: Tuesdays and Fridays 10 am - 11:30 am, both in person in our Newborn Connections clinic, or from the comfort of your home. Pump Rentals and Supplies

Our knowledgeable staff can assist with pump rentals, feeding supplies, nursing bras, etc. Items are available at our Van Ness Center at 1100 Van Ness Ave. Call (415) 600-2229 to order.
