At Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center of Santa Cruz, our family birthing center features 11 beautiful and spacious birthing suites. Each suite offers comfortable amenities to make sure you and your family members feel at home throughout your entire birthing experience. We’re proud to be a Baby-Friendly Hospital.
Some of the amenities you can expect include:

- Celebration dinner after the birth of your baby.
- Whirlpool baths in four of our suites.
- Private whirlpool bath for those staying in suites without at in-room spa.
- Color television and DVD player.
- In-room meal service until 7:00 pm providing delicious, freshly-prepared meals. Sandwiches and salads are available during the late evening hours.
