At Sutter, we believe that taking care of the children of our community is vital to its health and well-being. When those children find themselves soon to be parents, we are there to help them and their babies get off to a good start and stay on the path to a bright future.
Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento’s Sutter Teen Programs reach out to Sacramento County teens who are pregnant or parenting. Teens work with a case manager who provides guidance and resources when they are pregnant or parenting. We work to help the teen give birth to a healthy baby, complete their education, avoid another unplanned pregnancy and get some good parenting skills.
It is our vision that these teens will form healthy relationships and achieve safe and secure futures for themselves and their children.
If you would like to refer teens to the program or have questions, please contact the program manager, Nyuieko Bansah at (916) 887-4031.
