Many people can begin addiction recovery in outpatient drug and alcohol treatment. The Mills-Peninsula intensive outpatient program is designed to help you build addiction recovery skills so you can meet the day-to-day challenges to sobriety.
The program includes 12 weeks of comprehensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment for patients and family members. Evening and noon programs are available.
Following successful treatment at this level, patients have the opportunity to enter our one-year addiction recovery program, which includes a weekly aftercare group at no charge for both patient and family members.
Results That Change Lives
In 2013, 67 percent of our patients successfully completed this program, significantly better than the national average. Mills-Peninsula doctors, nurses and therapists recognize that substance abuse disease affects the whole family. We provide appropriate treatment and support for family members as well as patients.
Treatment includes helping family members and significant others learn to support the patient's addiction recovery, set their own limits and support themselves through the process.
