Brett Sheridan, MD, FACS, is Chair of the Department of Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery at Sutter’s California Pacific Medical Center. He is board certified in thoracic surgery.
Dr. Sheridan studies new advances in surgical techniques for cardiovascular diseases. He performs thoracic and vascular surgeries to treat congenital heart disease, heart valve diseases, aneurysms, atrial fibrillation, and heart failure. He participates in clinical trials of new cardiovascular disease surgeries and has authored numerous publications in these areas.
Dr. Sheridan obtained an MD from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He completed residency training in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO.
