While cancer is a medical and emotional journey for patients and their families, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital has one goal in mind — to provide comfort and support to our patients and return them to good health. Great care goes beyond medicine. As a designated cancer center, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital relies on philanthropy to fund a variety of services in support of high-quality patient care.
For example, a Cancer Navigator is a registered nurse specially trained to serve as a patient's personal guide and advocate. Having the support of a Cancer Navigator provides guidance and resources to help make the road from diagnosis to survivorship easier to navigate. This allows the patient and their family the ability to concentrate on recovery and their time together.
Through philanthropy, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital is also able to offer our patients a full service Infusion Therapy Center, where our experienced oncology and infusion nurses use the latest treatment regimens and techniques to deliver chemotherapy, antibiotics or other drugs, electrolytes or nutritional solutions. Donor support also ensures that teams of cancer specialists can meet by video conference to share medical information and make decisions on treatment options through our Virtual Tumor Board.
Your gift to Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital's cancer programs help provide a full range of equipment and services in a timely manner.
