Ambulatory (Outpatient) Surgery

Outpatient surgery allows you to get care close to home and without an overnight stay. Doctors and nurses at CPMC are experts in ambulatory surgery and care for you in a compassionate and respectful environment. We offer outpatient surgery at several locations throughout the San Francisco area.

After your doctor schedules your surgery, you’ll need to pre-register. Our registration team will help you prepare for your procedure and will answer any questions you may have. We also offer language interpreters as needed.
