If you have a chronic lung disease, you may need extra support to manage your condition and improve your quality of life. Sutter care centers have support groups for people living with lung conditions such as COPD, asthma or pulmonary fibrosis. We also offer classes that can help you quit smoking or learn to better manage stress.
Better Breathers Club
The Better Breathers Club, sponsored by the American Lung Association, is a support group for people with COPD, pulmonary fibrosis or lung cancer and their family, friends and caregivers.
This group provides a safe, supportive environment where you can learn more about your condition, share your experiences with others and discover better ways to cope with lung disease.
To find a meeting near you, visit the American Lung Association website or call (800) LUNGUSA.
