What is Group Prenatal Care?

Group Prenatal Care is a style of prenatal care that combines the best of one-on-one visits and group support. It has been practiced around the country for the past two decades with excellent outcomes.

What can you expect from the appointments?

You will meet on a regular prenatal schedule with a dedicated provider and a small group of women that have a similar due date. Your group appointments are two hours long and include an individual assessment and lots of time for questions and discussion. You will spend time getting to know other women who are going through the same process as you, trading ideas and learning from one another. You will have a care provider that gets to know you on a very individual level and who will help you monitor the growth and changes pregnancy brings.

How are appointments scheduled?

The schedule for all of your appointments is booked when you sign up for the program, allowing plenty of time to make work and childcare arrangements. Appointments begin and end on time, meaning no sitting in a waiting room or an exam room like traditional appointments.
