Your hand therapist can help you regain strength and function in your hands, wrists and elbows while protecting them from further injury or strain. We offer therapeutic exercises and procedures, ergonomic modifications, custom static and dynamic splint fabrication, prosthetic training, wound care and stretching and relaxation techniques to help you recuperate.

Hand therapy is a unique and relatively new specialty with a rich history at CPMC. A current referral from a California licensed physician is required in order to obtain hand therapy services. We accept most PPO, California workers compensation, Medicare, Medi-Cal, California Children's Services and many HMO health plans.
