Interventional neuroradiologists at Eden Medical Center use state-of-the-art, minimally invasive procedures to treat conditions of the brain, head and neck, and spinal cord region. Using image-guided techniques that don’t require open surgery, we treat aneurysms, clots, stroke, blood vessel malformations and other major neurological diseases. A shared electronic system of diagnostic images allows neurointerventionalists and other specialists to collaborate on treatment plans from any Sutter location.
We’ve earned distinctions including:
- For four years in a row, Eden Medical Center has achieved the Stroke Gold Plus Quality Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association, recognizing high-quality stroke treatment. Eden was also awarded the Target: Stroke Elite Plus recognition for fast treatment with tissue plasminogen activator (tPA), the drug that breaks up clots that cause a stroke.
- In 2017, CareChex recognized two Sutter hospitals for top medical excellence in stroke care.
- Twelve primary stroke centers were given the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission's Quality Check.
- Sutter’s Neuroscience Institutes offer access to nationally recognized specialists, participation in clinical trials and the latest technology.
