Neuropsychology focuses on thinking, learning and behavior and how it relates to the brain. With evaluations and tests, neuropsychologists can figure out the strength of a patient’s memory and thinking skills.
For people with or that may have epilepsy, neuropsychologists use standardized, paper-and-pencil tests to determine memory, cognition and emotional function. An epilepsy diagnosis or treatment plan may be made from these results.
