Find JobsThe Hospice Bereavement Program at Sutter Care at Home offers individual and group support to those who have experienced the death of a loved one, as well as grief-related education for community organizations. All services are offered at no fee.

Handling the Holidays
The holiday season can be a difficult time of year and especially for those who have lost loved ones. Join us for a group discussion and strategies on coping with grief and loss during what can be stressful times.
Loss of a Spouse
An 8-week structured group for those who have experienced the death of a spouse or partner. Pre-enrollment is required.
Loss of a Parent
An 8-week structured group for those who have experienced the death of a parent. Pre-enrollment is required.
Bi-weekly support group for children ages 4-17 who are grieving the death of a significant person in the last year of referral. Art and creative activities are used to help express grief. Children are placed in groups according to age, development and type of loss.
Each group is facilitated by an art therapist with extensive background in childhood grief. The art therapist is assisted by trained volunteers. The art therapist maintains regular phone contact with parents and guardians to discuss the child's progress in the group. A family night is held at the end of the program to which the child may invite family and friends to share the experiences of the group.
Pre-enrollment is required. The Children's Bereavement Art Group meets in Roseville and Sacramento.
