Our Santa Rosa bereavement and grief support programs are open to the public and provide support for adults, young adults and children who have experienced a loss. Holiday Groups

We hold support groups for coping with grief and loss around Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving and winter holidays.

Infant and Pregnancy Loss

For people coping with grief due to miscarriage or the death of an infant.

Parents Supporting Their Grieving Children

A six-week group for adults who have children who have lost a parent.

Partner Loss – Daytime

For adults whose spouse or partner has died.

Partner Loss – Evening

For adults whose spouse or partner has died.

People in Grief

Four-week group for people whose loved one has died.

Survivors of Suicide Loss

For those who have lost a loved one to suicide.

School-Based Grief Groups

Sutter Care at Home (SCAH) may be available to offer a grief support group directly at your child’s school campus. This allows children to form a network of support with their peers at school who have also experienced the death of a loved one. A school-based grief support group meets on campus during the school day for six to eight weeks. The group focuses on creating a safe environment for students ages 5 to 18 to express their feelings, ask questions, learn about grief and remember their loved one through age-appropriate activities and discussions. SCAH offers grief support services at no cost to schools throughout Sonoma County.
