Sutter Davis Hospital’s Health Enhancement and Risk Therapy (HEART) Program is a self-pay program for individuals in stable health who wish to supplement their home exercise regimen and may have two of the following cardiac risk factors:
- Heart Attack or Angina
- Heart Surgery
- Angioplasty or Stent
- Heart Failure
- Family History of Heart Disease
- Diabetes Mellitus
- Smoker
- Metabolic Syndrome
- Hypertensions
- High Cholesterol
- Obesity
- Sedentary Lifestyle
- Arrhythmias
- Pacemaker or AICD
- Peripheral Vascular Disease
The HEART Program is a monitored exercise program in a medical setting that offers lifestyle coaching on:
- Nutrition
- Stress Management
- Weight Loss
- Goal Setting
- Fitness Testing
You will also receive education on how to best deal with your risk factors while we will work with your doctor to optimize your health. The HEART Program’s goal is to prepare you to take the necessary steps to prevent heart disease after the program has ended.
