Description
The purpose of this project is to investigate the association between hyperlocal (within city block) measures of air pollution and preterm birth, gestational hypertension and diabetes in the Bay Area.
It will make use of natality data derived from birth certificates maintained by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and maternal health record data from Sutter Health as well as air pollution measures provided by colleagues at the Environmental Defense Fund and University of Texas at Austin.
