Sutter Maternity Surgery Center and PAMF Enrich Pregnancy Experience
Launched in 2016, this program brings women into a group setting to receive basic prenatal checkups, build community and learn more about pregnancy, childbirth and parenting. Centering Pregnancy gives patients more face time with providers, increases breastfeeding rates and may reduce preterm births.
Funds raised at the 2017 Toast to the Town event and individual gifts from the community support a wider program we call Centering Parenting. This PAMF family-focused well-child initiative that brings parents and babies together through the first two years of life. Supporting gifts will also enable Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center to expand lactation services to seven days a week for all community members.
Supporting our expectant mothers and their families creates better outcomes for their babies and makes us stronger as a community.
