NIH has expanded the final progress report. It now resembles the annual RPPR and requires multiple components. Three major differences are that there is a new section (section I) at the end entitled “Outcomes” and the sections “F. Changes” and “H. Budget” are not required.
The Final RPPR is due no later than 120 calendar days (not 4 months) after the end date of the grant. The report should be started as soon as the grant has ended. The Grants Administrator should follow a similar process as for the annual progress report.
