The diagnosis of cancer is a life-changing event that can be overwhelming and stressful. It marks a defining moment in anyone's life and can affect the person’s physical, emotional, and social well-being. My goal as a cancer surgeon is to help you develop a detailed plan of care that not only improves long-term survival but preserves your quality of life. I want to help you get to that wedding, that trip, that time with your loved ones. Together, we will decide on the right operation, manage the perioperative factors that impact cancer recurrence, and determine the optimal use of neoadjuvant and adjuvant therapies. 

Cancer care is a multidisciplinary effort, and I am grateful to work with exceptional colleagues in medical oncology, radiation oncology, genetics, palliative care, GI, and IR. Our group is dedicated to achieving the best outcomes in and out of the operating room.
