Description
Our project will enhance understanding of how cancer care is triaged, delivered, and how treatment plans are modified due to the impact of COVID-19.
Our project will inform the use of telemedicine in cancer care and variability by patient characteristics, which have the potential to reduce disparities in the delivery of telemedicine.
Our estimates on the volume of postponed services during COVID-19 pandemic can inform healthcare systems’ planning of future workflows as well as future studies evaluating the impact of delayed services on patient health outcomes.
John K. Chan, M.D., and Allison W. Kurian, M.D., MSc, are Clinical Advisors.
