Philosophy of Care
I am committed to the prevention, early detection, and treatment of a variety of gastrointestinal diseases. I care deeply about each of my patients. I believe it is important to keep pace with advances in medicine and to use scientific evidence and experience to guide individualized decisions. Overall I emphasize patient education and shared decision making to individualize care in accordance with each patient's goals and attitudes about their health. I try to avoid unnecessary over treatment and to not only treat disease but to focus on the promotion of wellness.
