I believe in the Golden Rule: treat others as I would want to be treated.  Coupled with active listening to patients. If faced with a diagnostic dilemma (unless it's life or limb-threatening), I ask the patient what he or she thinks may be causing the problem. I believe in talking to and collaborating with my professional colleagues at work when faced with challenging cases. Two brains are better than one; strength in numbers.
