I received my medical degree from Mumbai, India in 2007 and completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, New York. Prior to completing my Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Louisville, I pursued a sub-specialty training and completed a prestigious hepatology fellowship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. I have served as faculty and have clinical experience in various healthcare settings including academic institutions, Veterans Affairs community hospitals and tertiary care centers. I have extensive experience in liver disease clinical trials, with several peer-reviewed publications and posters. I have also served as a member of liver transplant programs.

Participant of: National Pulse polio program by WHO; school health services; Maternal & Child health program; Health, Environment, and Action in Louisville (HEAL); provided education about current HCV treatment landscape to visiting Egyptian scholars.
