After a B.A. in biochemistry at UC Berkeley, I earned my medical degree M.D. from Harvard and completed my internal medicine residency at Stanford. I’ve worked nearly 25 years as a hospitalist for Palo Alto Medical Foundation at Stanford hospital, Washington hospital and Sequoia hospital, caring for patients and families in their greatest time of needs. I am well versed in treating complex conditions, building trust with people facing critical needs, and navigating Stanford and PAMF specialists to provide the best care possible.

Our care philosophy emphasizes long-term, personal relationships with patients. My goal for each and every one of my patients is to identify medical issues early so as to offer preventative health measures before conditions become serious. I recognize that healthy habits aren’t always easy, so I’d like to assist my patients with feasible strategies and supportive resources so that changes can be made effectively over time. These strategies are not just restricted to the physical but to the mental and emotional health, as well.
