Please note, if you are an HMO/POS health plan member and pick a primary care physician who is a member of the Mills-Peninsula Division of PAMF, your specialty care, laboratory and radiology services will be provided by physicians in the Mills-Peninsula network. This network includes specialist physicians in Daly City, San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame, Foster City, and San Mateo area.

As a board-certified surgeon in both general surgery and surgical oncology, I have the privilege to care for patients with a broad spectrum of surgical issues including both benign diseases and malignant tumors. In my role as a surgical oncologist, I work with a team of cancer specialists to provide each patient with the most comprehensive cancer care. Together, through our Multidisciplinary Tumor Boards, we create personalized treatment plans for each patient. Whenever possible, I offer my patients minimally invasive surgical techniques including laparoscopic and robotic surgery to help reduce pain and shorten recovery time after surgery. In addition, I believe that quality of life and goals of care are important parts of every surgical discussion. 

Navigating through any surgical disease can be overwhelming and I strive to minimize the stress of that experience for patients and their families. I take the responsibility of caring for each patient very seriously and believe that each patient has a unique and important experience. My goals are to provide clear information and guidance to enable patients to make informed decisions about their care, and to deliver advanced surgical care in an intimate, community-based setting.
