Dr. Hararah treats conditions of the ear, nose, and throat in adults and children, with expertise in head and neck cancer. He joins Sutter Health after completing prestigious fellowships in both head and neck oncologic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery. Dr. Hararah offers cutting-edge treatment including transoral robotic surgery, free tissue transfer reconstruction for cancer or trauma-related defects, minimally invasive endoscopic skull-base surgery, and complex thyroid/parathyroid cancer surgery. He is also the first surgeon to perform a successful microvascular free tissue transfer at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento.
A California native, Dr. Hararah grew up in San Francisco and attended UC Berkeley for his B.A. He subsequently traveled to the Midwest and East Coast to pursue his medical training under notable leaders in the field, before returning home. Dr. Hararah has received numerous awards and recognition for his research. His research has been published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented at national meetings around the country. He has also been praised by his peers and mentors for his compassionate care towards patients and was elected to the Gold Humanism Society.
Personal Interests
In his free time, Dr. Hararah enjoys spending time with his family. He enjoys the outdoors, coffee shops, and trying new restaurants. He is an avid Bay Area sports fan and loves to travel.

Dr. Hararah believes in providing care for his patients in the same manner that he would want for his own family. He focuses on the treatment of the patient, not simply the disease. He believes in empowering patients with the knowledge to make shared decisions. When it comes to cancer care, Dr. Hararah uses evidence-based medicine and a multidisciplinary approach to provide patients with individualized treatments.
