James Roberts has been providing professional counseling services to pre-teens, teens, and adults for over a decade. James has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds, but his specialty lies in working with adolescents and pre-teens. James’ ability to quickly connect with his clients has allowed him to meet his patient’s needs in a very timely manner, while also assisting them in achieving their long-term goals.

James is well versed in providing telehealth therapy (video-conferencing), which has become the go-to method in today’s climate.  James has assisted his clients with a variety of different issues such as depression, anxiety, screen addiction, ADHD, trauma, stress, grief, and loss, just to name a few. Resource coordination is also another strength of James’ if a client needs a higher level of care. James’ experience is vast and includes working in drug and alcohol rehab centers, middle schools, high schools, and psychiatric emergency rooms.

James recently reached his 5-year mark here at Sutter Health and looks forward to many more years of assisting you or your child in achieving your desired behavioral health goals.
