Parents & caregivers are taught emergency measures to clear the airway and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on infants. The goal of this program is to reduce the number of childhood deaths caused by breathing and/or cardiovascular problems. Parents & caregivers are taught emergency measures to clear the airway and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on infants. The course includes lecture and demonstration.
Parking Instructions
CPMC in partnership with the city and county of San Francisco STRONGLY encourage the use of Public Transportation! The Van Ness Campus (1101 Van Ness Avenue) is located on the square block between Van Ness & Franklin AND Post & Geary. The entrance to the drop off area is a right turn off of Geary. (Approximately 1120 Geary) Please do not get dropped off on the side of any of the roads around the hospital. There is a continuous driveway through the hospital from Geary to Post. It was designed for safe and speedy drop offs. The entrance to parking is a right turn off of Post between Franklin & Van Ness. Parking is $8.00 an hour and $4.00 every half hour with a maximum of $35.00 a day.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING POLICY:
- You may reschedule or cancel any class up to one week prior to the start date.
- Cancellations or reschedules made less than one week prior to class start date and 'no shows' on the day of the class will not receive any form of credit.
- Any cancellations or reschedules are issued as credit only. This credit may be applied towards future classes, pump rentals, and store merchandise (nursing bras, baby clothes, etc).
