Urology Care for Men
Penis Disorders
Penis disorders aren’t unusual, and most have one thing in common: pain. Several factors can contribute to a penis disorder—they are not simply “mind over matter” conditions. Some penis disorders, such as Peyronie's Disease, are caused by blood flow problems or scar tissue in the penis, and often they can be a symptom of a different disease, such as diabetes or heart disease.
We offer a wide range of treatments for penis disorders. Depending on your age, medical history and symptoms, your doctor may recommend testosterone replacement therapy, a vacuum erection device, surgical treatment or medications—either taken orally or via injection into your penis. For erectile dysfunction (ED) in particular, a penile prosthesis can be a very effective procedure.
If you are not sure if you have a penis disorder, make an appointment to see your doctor if you are in pain, notice a physical change in your penis or scrotum, or are having fertility problems.
Enlarged Prostate
An enlarged prostate—or benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH)—is a treatable disease that most men will develop as they get older. Left untreated, BPH can lead to other urological disorders including urinary tract infections (UTIs), bladder stones and kidney damage.
We offer a variety of treatments for BPH that range from nonsurgical to minimally invasive procedures. Our experts can give you guidance on simple lifestyle changes you can make that may relieve many of your symptoms.
