Description
Through in-depth interviews with patients and providers at the Highland Hospital emergency department, this project will explore: (1) the care experiences of patients who are high utilizers of the emergency department, (2) their unmet needs within the current ED system, and (3) barriers to non-emergency health care and social services that lead patients to seek emergency services as their source of regular care.
