Description
Sutter Health is closely monitoring the evolving situation with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
The goal of this study is to create a COVID-19 Universal Registry for Vital Evaluations (CURVE) database, a semi-real-time registry of Sutter Health patients with confirmed or highly-suspected COVID-19 infection. The registry will serve as a centralized resource for research and quality improvement activities for disease surveillance, modeling, and epidemiological analyses to be used by researchers at Sutter Health. The goal of this registry is to create efficiencies in workflows and so that common definitions of COVID-19 cases are being applied across all projects within the organization.
