Jonathan A. Peng, M.D., M.S., FACC

Outside of Medicine, Dr. Peng was previously a mechanical engineer in the aerospace world prior to his career in medicine. He enjoys reading historical fiction, advancing his basic wine knowledge, going for a long runs, traveling down the road and across the ocean, bonding with Constants, and making memories as a fencing dad with his daughter.

Dr. Peng spent his formative years in both Indianapolis, Indiana and San Diego, California. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. After two years of working in the aerospace industry, he made a career change and received his MD from Indiana University.

His post graduate training consists of an internal medicine residency at UCLA and a general cardiology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Peng has an interest in cardiac imaging and endurance physiology.
